To design a standard modern classic, in this case a new archetype original to Yamaha, I try to understand the pure, simple long lasting essence of an object.

CLP Slim’s innovative one action lid mechanism delightfully retracts into the main body and its soft landing mechanism satisfies in the same way as the sound and movement of a quality car door. Quality of detail, pureness of form and consideration of junctions and manufacturing tolerances indicating a high level of design and manufacturing quality mean the instrument will be a long life partner to enjoy music with.
